Description

Offered is a 4 1/4" long silver metal spoon with an image of a Portola Festival princess in the bowl labeled: "California." The handle shows a bust of Don Gaspar de Portola, the explorer who is credited with the European discovery of the San Francisco Bay on November 4, 1769. In 1909, 3 years after the great earthquake, San Francisco celebrated the rebirth of the city with the Portola Festival. There are some dark spots, as seen in the photos. I am offering this very hard to find spoon at a very reasonable Buy It Now price.
